Total grant £170K awarded by Invest NI and Intertrade Ireland
Drumhorc Pallets was established in 1985 and has become one of the leading pallet manufacturing companies in Ireland.
An established exporter, economic driver and employer in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area, Drumhorc is a renowned market leader in the production of ‘next generation’ ISPM15 standard pallets for a diverse range of sectors including pharmaceutical and engineering, reconditioning used and manufacturing new pallets focusing on quality and Covid proofing.
We secured Drumhorc Pallets, £153,513 of capital grant from Invest NI towards the implementation of a new pallet production line and assisted the company in reaching the finals of the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Business Award in manufacturing excellence.
Drumhorc faced the challenges of:
- Entry to Republic of Ireland market and addressing barriers to trade
- Defining their Unique Selling Points
- Obtaining financial support towards a new production line to meet sales demands in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, and
- Raising the company profile by winning industry recognition and Innovation award.
We supported applications for a Capital Grant of £170k from Invest NI, which will create eight new FTE operative posts, and for an Emergency Business Solutions mentoring grant from Intertrade Ireland.
